What the Gel?!

Did you know that if you ask your manicurist for gel nails and she uses a liquid and powder, you are actually getting acrylic?

I know. Crazy, right? And even crazier? There is actually no such thing as gel powder either.

There are several different types of gel but they all have a couple of things in common:

#1. They have little to no odor

and

#2. They must be cured in an ultra violet lamp to cure/dry

Learn more about different types of gel by clicking the "About UV Gel" section.

My goal as a nail technician is to ensure all of my clients know exactly what is being used on your nails, to keep your natural nails happy and healthy under your gel and to make sure that you are 100% satisfied with the service you receive.
